Newsletter December 2019

A message from WPF President, Anne Smith

Anne SmithBlink, Blink, the December holidays are here. It’s truly my favorite time of
the year. We have the MiBox full of lighted Christmas Balls, extensions cords, and Christmas lights in front of the house. We have installed about 40 balls, only 20 more to go. Once the workshop is over, the utility trailer will park out front, and the food collection will begin. The Sunset Hills’ food drive received national attention this year from Reader’s Digest naming Sunset Hills, the nicest place in NC. I’m excited about the Shine the Light on Hunger Campaign, but it doesn’t happen without the participation of the community. And truly it is a giving back project for the entire city. Thanks to all of you who come by, drop off food, or help in any way.
